Why book with us direct?
When you book direct you pay less with no third party booking fees. You can book directly on our website
Do you have a minumum night stay?
Our minimum night stay varies with seasons. We will never rent less than 3 nights as a general rule. Please inquire for additional availability.
Where are you located?
We are located in Gulf Shores, Alabama on the Fort Morgan peninsula at approximately mile marker 3.
How close are you to the beach?
The sand of the beach is about 300' from our driveway. There are houses directly in front of our home between us and the beach. Guests may not access the beach by our neighbors' side yards.
The nearest beach access is about 500' from the house and takes a short 4 minute walk. There are additional beach accesses along Ponce de Leon Ct. all within short walking distance.
Additonally, the provided golf cart also allows you to make quick work of hauling beach gear to the entrances.
Can I use the golf cart?
Yes! The golf cart is there for your enjoyment and to aid in hauling beach gear to and from accesses. Drivers must be 18 yrs of age and responsible guest must be 25 yrs of age and sign a liability waiver and rules list for all members of his party. A code to access the keys for the cart will not be released without signing the liability waiver.
Please be advised, the golf cart is merely meant for slow riding and assistance. It is not meant to drive fast, wreckless and at no time will be allowed on the beach. She won't get even 1 foot in so don't bother to try ;)
Are the bikes and paddleboard free to use as well?
Absolutely! Please return all additional beach gear to its proper storage place when done and kindly wash off the paddleboard. There are even a couple scooters for the littles to use.
What times are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is 4pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is 10 am on the day of departure.
How does check-in work? Do we have to go somewhere to get keys?
You won't need to go anywhere to pick up or drop off keys. Approximately 3 days prior to your check in you will receive your personal keyless entry code. Just arrive at the house and use the code provided which will be active for the duration of your stay. If you need help with access or information at any time, don't hesitate to contact press the Ring video doorbell. Someone will be available to assist you in entry and if you have any other questions.
Where can we get driving directions, house details, access info, Wi-Fi, etc. to help us plan our trip?
Details will be sent to your email a week prior to your checkin date.
How many parking spaces are available?
There are 2 driveways with parking for 1 vehicle on each. A small car may park under the house on the Harbour Light Circle driveway but be aware of clearance and the golf cart parked under the house as well. No parking is allowed in the sand, you will get stuck.
Do you have wi-fi and cable at the house?
Yes, our home has high speed wireless internet but no cable. All TVs are smart TVs (1 roku and 3 Amazon Firestick enabled) capable of streaming your favorite streaming channels.
May we bring a pet to your vacation home?
Yes! And Fort Morgan has the only dog friendly beach in Gulf Shores, AL. We allow up to 2 dogs up to 50 lb each. All pets must be pre approved and declared in the booking. There is a $75 per dog fee. You will be required to sign an additional pet addendum to the house rental contract notifying that you will adhere to all neighborhood/house rules with respect to the animals.
What are the house rules?
The rental agreement must be signed and returned within 24 hours of booking to keep from cancellation.
All rules must be followed to avoid immediate eviction and termination of rental with no refund.
Up to 9 guests permited
Must be at least 25 years old to rent and must stay in the property every night of the booked dates.
No smoking
Pets allowed with signed pet addendum and prior approval Pet Fee is $75 per dog (max of 2)
Parties will not be tolerated and will be subject to automatic eviction
Quiet hours are between 10pm - 8am. We want you to enjoy your time but please be considerate of other families and guests.
We understand things happen. If you break something we will find out so please let us know right away so that we can try to fix or replace it before our next guests arrive.
What are Seaspray's booking terms?
Payment & Fees
We require 50% down upon booking your reservation and the remaining balance is due before 30 days of arrival.
Cleaning Fee: $225
Security Deposit: A $300 Security Deposit HOLD will be placed on your Credit Card 1 days prior to your arrival and will be released within 3 days after your departure as long as no damage was incured by the guest.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations before 60 days of arrival will receive a refund of 100% monies paid. Cancellations 30 days before arrival will receieve a refund of 50% of monies paid. Cancellations within 30 days will receive no refund. All cancellations must be in writing and are irreversible. I highly suggest purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen reasons for cancellation.
What if there is a natural disaster or any other unforeseen circumstance that affects our stay?
Although we do everything possible to make your stay as pleasant and carefree as possible, we cannot control or be responsible for the weather or any other unforeseen circumstance that may affect your stay.
There are no refunds for natural disasters or other major events that are out of our control. We highly encourage you to purchase trip insurance to cover your stay in case of a natural disaster or other major event. Depending on the type of trip insurance you purchase, you are usually eligible to be reimbursed by the insurance company for the amount that we do not refund.
We do not sell trip insurance, but we highly recomend getting your own. Be sure to carefully read the insurance that you purchase so you know which cancellation reasons are covered and which ones are not. The Cancel For Any Reason is highly recommended.
Additionally for any questionable weather affecting your arrival or departure please contact the host for insight to assist you in making the best decision for your safety.
Do you supply linens?
Yes. All bedding, bathroom and kitchen towels will be supplied. Please do not bring any bathroom towels to the beach or the pool. We will provide some beach towels.
Do you have any baby gear?
At this time we do not.
How far is the grocery store?
The nearest major grocery store (Rouse's) is 20 minutes away where Ft. Morgan Road meets Hwy. 59. There are three smaller grocery stores along Ft. Morgan road including a Dollar General for any provisions you may have forgotten.
Do you allow smoking in your vacation homes?
There is NO SMOKING in our homes. If we find that you have smoked in one of our homes, there will be a minimum $400 fine charged. If you smoke outside, please dispose of your cigarette butts properly in the trash.
Is your property handicapped accessible?
No it is not. We do have a flight of stairs for the only entrance to our home.
What amenities do you offer?
As you prepare for your stay here are the amenities we provide:
The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, plates, bowls, cups, utensils, knives, chopping blocks, a blender, toaster, slow cooker, and instant pot. A coffee bar with K-cup and standard pot as well as creamer, sugar, and stevia is provided. A kitchen starter pack of dishwasher pod (1x), dishwashing soap (1x use), 1x paper towel roll will be provided.
We also have shampoo, body wash and bar soap in the bathrooms along with a roll of toilet paper per bathroom. We also have an iron and ironing board for our guests to use.
There is a washer and dryer in the utility closet with a provided 1x load of laundry detergent. There is also a cordless vacuum and wet swiffer for assistance with sand and/or pet hair should you want to clean up during your stay.
What does Heritage Shores neighborhood have to offer?
The neighborhood has 2x swimming pools, a dual purpose tennis/basketball court and a clubhouse all for guests use.
